65 milion years ago, almost all of the dinosaurs perished. "ALMOST." One dinosaur, named Baragon, survived the Great Extinction by burrowing deep under the Earth. There, the dinosaur slept for millions of years.
Baragon is an unidentifiable species of dinosaur, with the ability to dig and a horn on his face that can glow to give him sight in the dark.
He didn't reawake until millions of years later in ancient Japan. Baragon quickly understood that he was in a new world. Curious, Baragon wandered around the land. Japanese monks from a temple saw the dinosaur, and were quite frightened, but not for long. Seeing the creature as not a threat and greatly hungry, the monks offered Baragon great amounts of food. Baragon accepted and quickly ate it all. Eternally grateful, Baragon has vowed to protect his new home from invaders. The people of the region honored Baragon as a Guardian

At that very moment, the atomic bombs mortally injured the dinosaur. Near death, the Gojirasaurus started to change. The radiation from its wounds began to mutate its body. It grew significantly larger, it's tail grew longer, and rows of spines grew on its back. The dinosaur had now become Godzilla.
