Art thieves will be "Slashed, strangled, and slaughtered. Beaten, stabbed, and crushed. Garroted and impaled. Shot and executed without mercy." (Wiess the Imaculate, Dirge of Cerberus)
For all Law & Order fans, Detective/Sargent John Munch is now retired. The retirement party at the beginning of last nights episode of SVU was great. Everyone was there! The Special Victims members, his ex-wives, and even his partner from "Homicide." So, to dedicate his career of wonderful policework, here's a brief history about the character.
John Munch was introduced in the 1990's crime show "Homocide: Life on the Street." He was originally a Homocide detective of the BPD in Baltimore, MD. A few years later, he went to New York and joined the Special Victims Unit. He had three partners in SVU, Brian Cassidy, Monique Jeffries, and ultimatley Fin Tutuola. For over the 15+ years at SVU, he helped with many cases.
It has been an honor, a privilage, and a great pleasure serving with you, John Munch. We shall miss you.
